My Christmas Wishlist | Blogmas Day 9

So today I thought I would share with you a quick wishlist of what I would like this Christmas!

I have wanted some Real Techniques brushes for ages as I currently just use cheaper brushes where all of the hairs fall out and they're just not very good quality. So it would be nice to have the core collection brushes as this set is probably the one I would use the most.

I don't really buy that many products from Lush. However, last year I got the Snow Fairy shower gel and the Santa Baby lip scrub and I absolutely loved them. I would really like to try some of the newer products from their Christmas range as they all sound amazing!

I actually can't wait to read this book,I have been waiting for it to come out for ages. I do already know that i am getting this for Christmas, and i almost got it twice as my sister and my mom both bought it for me :)

I don't have a pair of winter boots of any description and i really like the style of these from New Look. I have also seen a similar pair in Primark for around £15. I think they would go really well with jeans or leggings.

I have never had a Yankee candle as i have never been able to bring myself to pay that much for a candle. However, i really love the smell of the Christmas candles.

What is on your Christmas wishlist?

An Early Christmas Present | Blogmas Day 8

Hello Everyone!
So around eight weeks ago the stray kitten we 'took in' had four adorable little kittens which was a big shock as we all thought she was a male cat, as we hadn't taken her to the vets. Originally we were not going to keep any of the kittens or even the mom cat, we were going to give them away as we already have a cat named Bob who doesn't really get on very well with any other cats and also becuase 2 cats and 4 kittens would be quite a handful. However, we have sort of managed to convince our parents to let us keep two of the little beauties ( as an early Christmas present), as the other two have been adopted by my sister Laura - from Laura's All Made Up. So I am very glad that we didn't have to re-home them or split them up too much. The kitten in the last picture is the one I have chosen. He is the youngest one out of the four and we think he is a boy. My little brother has chosen the in the first picture which is lying over the black kitten, we have nicknamed her dotty because of the patch on her back until we think of another name for her. She was one of the oldest , either the first or second born. Which leaves the last two (the black one and the grey one with the little beard) who have now moved house and gone to live with Laura.

I am so happy that we have been allowed to keep them as it is nice to have watched them grow up since birth, from when they first started stumbling around to when they opened their eyes. They are now eight weeks old - nine weeks on Thursday and are getting to be so big!

Also I have not yet thought of a name for my kitten so any suggestions would be welcome :) The names I have came up with so far is Thor ( which my family don't like) and Gizmo. Let me know what you think of these names in the comments, I would also love any name suggestions. See you tomorrow for blogmas day 9 :)

It's begining to look a lot like christmas | Blogmas 7

Hello Everybody!
I finally got round to putting my Christmas decorations up in my room and im quite happy with how they look, even though none of the colours match  :)
I bought this banner from the pound shop yesterday and I love it. it's not badly made and it looks really cute, however I had to thread all of the letters through the ribbon which was a little time consuming. I think it looks really nice hanging from my shelf with the icicles draped behind it.
I bought the little red tree lantern from B&M yesterday for just £1 in the sale and then picked up these 2 christmassy scented candles for £1 each too. I may have gone slightly overboard on the candles this year as i have another 3 or 4 dotted around my room. I think candles make everything super cosy and christmassy.
I also got this sign from B&M for another pound, the only annoying thing is is that it is getting glitter everywhere :D
And last but not least is my mini tree which i got from the range last year, and although it doesn't match the red and white theme i really love how these colours look together!

What colour are your Christmas decorations?

One of my most favourite things about Christmas is that I get to watch all of the festive films! So today I thought I would share with you my top 10 festive films that really get you into the Christmas spirit. Also they are not going to be in an order as i just can't pick between them...

1) How The Grinch Stole Christmas
2) Love Actually
3) Home Alone 1,2,3 & 4
4) The Polar Express
5) A Christmas Carol
6) Nativity
7) Santa Clause 1,2 & 3
8) Deck The Halls
9) Elf
10) Die Hard

I absolutely love every one of these films as they are all so unique and christmassy in their own way.  would say that my top three however, are Polar Express, Elf and Home Alone because it just doesn't feel like Christmas unless i've watched all of these at least 3 times each :)

Let me know in the comments what you favourite festive film is and I will see you morrow with blogmas day 7 ( 1 whole week into December -Ican almost smell the Christmas dinner)
